Medicaid planning referral
Medicaid eligibility is a complex process with rules that can change frequently. If you are a Medicare Insurance Agent, CPA, Attorney or other senior care provider with clients in need of Medicaid planning services, the Medicaid professionals at Medi-Asset Protect are available when you need to refer your client to an expert in Medicaid planning.
It is common for people who have established relationships and developed trust in a law firm or with an insurance agent or CPA to return to them when Medicaid planning is being considered. It is a testament to your passion, experience, and commitment to your clients that they see you as a trusted resource. When a client has legal needs outside your area of expertise, as Medicaid planning may be, you want to put your client in touch with a colleague experienced in that area who can meet their needs. We hope to be that resource for you when it comes to Medicaid planning.

Reciprocal referrals with Medicare insurance agent,
CPA’s, Attorneys and other professionals
We understand the need and desire to protect your business from losing clients, which is why when we receive a referral from a professional partner, we guarantee we will not provide them any services other than Medicaid planning. Our goal is not to take your clients but to provide them with services you may not be able to. We are always open to building referral relationships and will offer reciprocal referrals to those clients looking for services that we do not provide. We believe in always looking out for or clients’ best interests. When they need support or services we do not offer, we will refer them to other local professionals, whether they are Insurance Agents, CPA’s, Attorneys, or others that can provide the services I cannot.
The role of a Medicaid planner
The role of a Medicaid Planner is to help clients structure their finances and prepare documentation to give them the best possibility of being accepted into the Medicaid program for long term care or home care services. A Medicaid planner will help prepare, file the Medicaid application and follow it all the way through to approval, resolve barriers such as excess income, manage asset transfers, and convert countable assets into exempt assets to ensure the best chance at eligibility to preserve a family’s financial resources.
